Food Safety Risk Assessment
Welcome to the Food Safety Risk Assessment website. The project started in 2002 as the Erasmus Curriculum Development Project ‘Food Safety & Risk Assessment: Scientists and Consumers’. The purpose of the project was to produce a module which would address the diversity of approaches to food safety and risk assessment throughout the Member States of the European Union.
Based on the module Intensive Programmes were organized in 2005 (Amsterdam), 2006 (Glasgow) and 2007 (Lille).
In 2008 the project was continued with a new Intensive Programme ‘Safe and Healthy Food’, scheduled for 2008-2010. For the first time this was organized in November 2008 in Amsterdam.
